i walked lucid through the relm of a far away dreamer, as the rain fell on command like a terrestrial baptism across our skins that night. drenched in the tears of something i was yet to feel, i watched as you spun feather like through the tapestry woven delicately by the ascending droplets, while the world stood silent, except for your laughter - rising above the den of nothingness.  your shadow hid behind the moons, illuminated only briefly by flashes of white across the paint brush clouds. your feet skimmed apparition like above the ground, a faint ghost fading from the memory of a past that no longer was.  sight wet i watched your flight as the rain traced the lines of our bodies and the thunder briefly echoed your heartbeat, rapid against my soul. my eyes sewn shut by the stitching of the water, i felt the caress of your currents and could almost believe that i truly was there with you in your night, watching the genesis of all that had ever been, and all that would never be again, in your rain.
