SAVING AN IMAGE FROM DISK TO FILE:

Step 1: 
             Insert the required disk in the drive you intend to use (A: or B:)  .
To check the contents of the disk , go to:   Edit->Display Files->From Disk.
(Note: This will ONLY show the files in the root directory.)

Step 2:  
             Select the drive to use by clicking on the appropriate letter (A: or B:),
in the drive box, or by selecting from the "File" menu.

Step 3:
             Check that "Save Image" is selected in the "Action to Perform" box,

Step 4:
             Enter a file name in the "Save Image to..." field, either by typing directly
in the box or by clicking "Browse" and selecting from the dialog box.

Step 5: (Optional)
            If you would like to include a description in the image file, type it in the 
"Image Description" box. If no description is wanted, make sure this box is clear!

Step 6:
              Note the long button near the bottom of the window, as you change 
actions and drives, the procedure to be performed is displayed on this button ,
IE: "Save Image of DRIVE A: to File."
Click this button to begin saving the disk image to file OR select
Options -> Save Image-> Save From  A:  (or B:)
While the copy is proceeding, a progress bar will indicate the percentage 
completed.
You may end the procedure by clicking the "Cancel" button.

RESTORING AN  IMAGE FROM FILE TO DISK:

Step 1: 
             Insert the required disk in the drive you intend to use (A: or B:)  .

Step 2:  
             Select the drive to use by clicking on the appropriate letter (A: or B:),
in the drive box, or by selecting from the "File" menu.

Step 3:
             Check that "Restore Image" is selected in the "Action to Perform" box,

Step 4:
             Enter a file name in the "Restore Image from..." field, either by typing directly
in the box or by clicking "Browse" and selecting from the dialog box.
To check the contents of the Image , go to:   Edit->Display Files->From Image.
(Note: This will ONLY show the files in the root directory.)

Step 5:
              Note the long button near the bottom of the window, as you change 
actions and drives, the procedure to be performed is displayed on this button ,
IE: "RESTORE Image To DRIVE A:."
Click this button to begin restoring the image to disk OR select
Options -> Restore Image-> Restore to  A:  (or B:)
While the copy is proceeding, a progress bar will indicate the percentage 
completed.
You may end the procedure by clicking the "Cancel" button.

PLEASE NOTE:
If the destination disk contains any bad sectors, the image restored will not be 
true to the original disk. To check the disk for any bad sectors, go to
Options->Check for Bad Sectors and ensure this is checked (has a tick mark).
However this will slow the procedure down somewhat and should only 
really be used if you have any doubts about a disk.
