Work started on the car in August 2000. Just a bit of welding was required.........New inner wing, Two new door skins, new drvers side rear wheel arch, new passenger front wing, and complete interior rebuild including upholstering of the seats to leather.
Eventually 8 months later and an empty bank balance one nearly new TR7........but worth waiting for.......!
Since then, I have replaced, the battery, the starter motor, the alternator and fitted a new mohair hood.
I have also converted the oil filter to the easier "screw on" type" as shown opposite. |
