Originally from Austin, TX, I've been performing with
Dallas area bands for over 14 years.
The basis of my formal training includes childhood piano lessons and
playing viola in junior and high school orchestras.
As a high school senior, someone bought a bass guitar for me to use in his band.
With this instrument, my musical education continued in college
through private lessons and a few
University Of North Texas classes,
covering the genres of
Pop, R&B, and Jazz.
Projects included:
Terra Cotta,
The Larry David Group,
Creature Comforts,
Cover 2 Cover,
Chemistry,
Champagne Blonde,
and
a band called
Outbound.
Since the demise of Outbound, I've been fortunate enough to fill in for
The Mix, The Flavours, Hearsay, and Dear John. I now reside happily with The
Factory as this band's second newest member....
I sit in with local cover bands whenever there’s time,
and have had great experiences sharing the stage with
The Random Axis Band, Big Daddy,, Inside Out, Elle & Elle, etc.
Regular "sub" gigs have, luckily, kept me busy over the past year.
I've loyally played the same
Yamaha TRB6P
I purchased in 1993 in Denton, TX,
from Ron Forte.

I someday hope to return to Austin, though I call DFW home, for now.
