A little about John
February 8/83------March 29/02
These are the dates that Johnnie was born on and died on. Although they are significant, it is the dash between these two dates that made him who he was and who we knew and loved. That dash is made up of 6,989 days.
John was born the youngest of four children, he has two sisters; Terrina and Taya and a brother James. John loved his family and was devoted to his friends. John was a terrific uncle to Ethan and always made time for him. One of the things he and Ethan loved to do was to sing together. Usually it was a song by Nickleback..." This Is How You Remind Me ". John worked with his brother and they were the best of friends.  John also enjoyed snowmobiling, riding his dirtbike, fishing, swimming, watching a Toronto Maple Leaf hockey game, camping with his "buds" especially at Go-Home Lake, puttering in the garage/workshop with Christopher, usually fixing his snowmobile or dirtbike. But I think what he really enjoyed was just hanging out with his brother and his friends. And let me tell you he sure had a lot of friends...

The last time I saw Johnnie alive was at 10:12 p. m.  on March 28th when he told me he was going out with friends for awhile. He kissed my cheek and said "see ya later Mom, love ya".

On March 29/02 John and some his friends went to a house party to just hang out for a bit. But while there John and another teenage boy who was a young offender at the time got into a fist fight. This ended with John being killed.

John joined his Dad ( Rolf ) (who had died of cancer) in Heaven that tragic night.
Rolf Nov.28/50------Sept.2/91

Then, Kyle Hallem who had been one of John's best buds was killed in an automobile accident less than 10 months after John. Kyle was the lead singer of the band " Undone "
Kyle Feb24/82------Jan20/03

If God has a beautiful garden in Heaven, made up of all the wonderful people from earth.....
Please tell me why, just once in awhile , can't He do a little weeding?

Please, walk away from a fight...you may be called a wimp or even worse, but at least you will go home to your Mom and Family !!!!

My cheek still gets warm...."
