The fatherless and the widow are mentioned in the Bible in 21 separate verses. The poor are mentioned 205 times in 197 verses. It is very clear that the Lord intends us to shepherd those who are less fortunate than us. Some of the organizations below require nothing more than a clink on a link, and the sponsor makes the donation. Others require nothing but prayer. Obviously all would be benefited by monetary donations. Do for these what the Lord leads you to do. Get involved in some way and those they reach will not be the only ones to be blessed, for the blessings will return to you! |
