I have been working as a Rational Software consultant. I am widely recognized as an expert in Rational's Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools in enterprise rollouts, processes, and configuration: ClearCase, ClearQuest, Unified Change Management (UCM) & Multi-Site, Windows & UNIX. I am now looking for contract opportunities commensurate with my skill set. In addition to the installation, configuration, and customization of the Rational suite of Tools including ClearCase, ClearQuest, Rose, XDE, ReqPro and the Test Manager suite, I have extensive experience in the areas of software development, lifecycle processes, documentation, environment assessment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, training, utility script writing, build & release management, and interop (between Windows and Unix). As well as Rational's SCM toolset, I have experience with Requisite Pro, RUP, and the Rational Suites. I am a certified, senior instructor for the courses on Windows and UNIX: I have over 19 years experience, 16 years Change and Configuration Management Experience using Endevor (13), PVCS (11), StarTeam (7) and ClearCase/ClearQuest (14), 12 years DBA experience in DB2 and Oracle and 14 years MVS system programming experience. I have performed work for clients in the health care, medical, financial and banking sectors.
