Loco 1079 on Cloncurry River Bridge

Steam loco 1079 crossing the Cloncurry River, coming back from Mount Isa, August 1995.
(Yes, the Cloncurry River is dry most of the year). This was an ARHS (Australian Railways Historical Society) tour, and was the first time that a steam-hauled train had travelled to Mt Isa since 1972. The original photo won first prize in its' section at the 1996 Cloncurry Show. I only wish I had time to take up photography again......
