NEW PICS ON 1 Sept 2000

I will be in Korea from Oct 2000 till Oct 2001 this page will be left like this due to me leaveing the section. I am proud to have spent time with the people in the Traffic and Bike Patrol sections. I hope that they will continue to do the job that they have been doing.
Take care guys and be careful. John K.

I hope that you laugh as hard as I do everytime that I hear this music!!!

The bikes are equipped with bright lights and can be ridden at night without visual difficulty. Officers generally ride with an assigned partner in groups of two. Bike Patrols allow officers to patrol in housing and tourist areas.

Routine Patrolling keeps the Bicycle Patrols busy, however the bike officers respond to radio calls, if they are within the area. The Bicycle Patrol attracts many citizens from both the tourist and the Community. The Officers take the time to promote a relationship with these groups.

Bike Patrol allows Officers to go anywhere regardless of obstacles! Each Officer selected to become part of the Bicycle Patrol is sent to a specialized training course. The school educates the Officers on different applications and situations in which the bikes may be used. The school also puts the Officers while on their bikes through various obstacles and environmental conditions. Officers will have the experience and expertise to perform in any situation while on patrol.
