cloudysoundsoutsidemywindow

It sounds cloudy outside doesn’t it?

We’ve been waiting for sunshine for days

but it’s nothing but rain      rain all the way down

i wish for weather    and this wish always come true

i wish for weather    and this wish comes true

i put my sleeve on my wrist

and i turn

            like this

and each time the sun drops on my head

            i get balder

It looks loud out                                  doesn’t it?

You’ve been waiting for noises for weeks

haven’t you?     but it’s no more than the air of silence

you wish for pleasure      and this wish always comes true

you wish for pleasure      and this wish comes true

you put your sleeve on your wrist

and turn it gently

            like this

and each time you burn yourself

            you get smarter

It’s a late afternoon outside    and there is no way to describe it

unless you must                                  must you?

It’s a late afternoon inside my home and i refuse to tell you about it

i’ve put my shirts on and taken them off

so many times    at least twice a day

i’m getting scared of the same old noises

please start the next phase of this ranch

i nearly walked out of a restaurant without paying today

would i have lost face?

no one gave chase         no one made a move

i just walked out

came back to pay my $NT 110 and all was resolved

i can sleep with myself again

can you sleep with me too?

i’d like that

i’ve been using an umbrella to hold on onto my head

i’m keeping my wits about me these days

i’m holding onto nothing like i used to
