| Welcome to English Composition II. This course builds on the foundations of the written communication skills developed in Composition I. It further develops the students' skills in composing essays and other written communication, including the documented research paper. Lecture Hrs: 4.0 Lab Hrs: 0.0 Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: complete all objectives set forth in Composition I as well as the following: Edit for stylistic improvement in diction, tone, and structure. Find the main idea in another writer's work. Summarize, paraphrase, and use direct quotation without plagarizing. Understand the organization and format of a documented research paper.
