| After my second child was born in 1994, she got my slotcar room. My wife insisted. So, I built a storage building in the backyard and built yet another track. It was a 4 lane clubman layout using Tomy track. It was neat to work on and look at but not so much fun to race on. Because it was exposed to lots of temprature changes, the track contracted and expanded constantly. That ment that in cool weather there were gaps, and in the hot Texas weather the track would buckle. I couldn't nail it down because I was having to constantly clean the rust buildup. Humidity in Texas is a real Mutha! |
