My friend, Chris, and I took the tour of Kennedy Space Center on 25 May 1998. This is me at the Launch Complex 39 viewing gantry with pad 39A in the background. There is a shuttle on that pad, but I will have to look up which one. This is as close as one gets to a pad on the tour. Compare this to the pictures I took at the NASA employees open house!

This is me and my friend Reid in March 1996. Reid is the oldest son of my friends Chris and Jennifer Wilson in Huntsville. I was staying with them at this time for a few days while attending the SSA convention which was held in Huntsville that year. Reid is much bigger now, and was joined by a brother, Nathan.

I taught Reid some German. Chris and Jennifer say it's time for me to come give Nathan German lessons.

This is me trying out the armored vehicle that the shuttle astonauts use to escape the shuttle before launch in the event of an emergency.
