in the background. To me, the very presence of a carousel at the
stadium is an admission of defeat on the part of the owners. "Yes,
we know that baseball is not interesting enough to actually be
entertaining. But hey, look, a merry-go-round! You can get the kids
out of your hair while you talk to your friends and drink beer!"
