Feel the Nature

I walk down the sidewalk,

it’s a mild, warm day,

blue skies that go on forever.

White puffy clouds pass by once in a while,

each bringing its own identity.

The sun shining bright upon me,

warming my skin, giving me energy.

I hold my head up towards the sky so I can feel it

go through me…

So I can enjoy it.

So I can feel so alive.

I hold my hands up in the air to feel its power.

I feel the wind blowing through my hair,

surrounding me with nature’s energy.

I feel the energy.

I realize that nature’s energy is tremendous,

it is very powerful.

It is more powerful than anyone will ever know.

I hear the leaves of the trees singing their song,

influenced by the warm winds.

The leaves on the trees are happy to be alive, too.

I hear the birds singing their love songs.

They have such simple lives.

I wonder if they enjoy their lives more than we do.

I wonder if they even know of enjoyment.

I want to lay on the rich green grass so I can feel the sun upon me,

so I can feel the wind blow across me,

so I can hear nothing but the wind and the birds and the trees.

I want to get away from the stress of life,

and enjoy the world around me.

I want to fall asleep under the warm sun,

listening to the wind going through the trees,

and the birds singing.

I want to lay outside at night,

under the moonlight,

with a perfectly clear night sky.

I want to stare at all the stars,

and watch some of them flicker,

and wonder if there is anything else out there.

I want to lay on the beach,

overlooking a vast body of water,

and watch the pretty colors of the sunset as it

reflects along the water.

And hear the waters move,

and the waves crash.

I want to put my feet in the warm water and feel its life.
