Time Together
I love when
we sit together
in a warm bubble bath
by candlelight and soft music
relaxing together
feeling each other’s warmth
as you hold me close to you
and erase the tensions
as you rub my shoulders and my neck
and massage my back with your strong hands.
The doors are locked,
there’s nothing to disturb us –
no alarms, no phones, no pagers,
nothing to break us away.
We get closer together
more comfortable together,
as I lie back against you
and slowly,
we fall asleep.
