Here one minute
gone the next
It’s been so long
but it seems like nothing at all.
Only 23 and I feel old.
Is my life full?
What have I missed
did I miss anything
or have I done it all?
I have found myself in this world
I have found my best friends
I have found the influence from friends
to guide me through,
now where will I go?
Will my heart show me
the opposite of my mind?
I lie in bed at night
sometimes thinking
wide awake
tired enough to sleep
thinking enough to run another mile.
Taking time by the week,
sometimes by the day.
It’s crazy but it’s cool.
