The Emperor's Champion

The Emperor is grand and mighty.  He is Omnipotent.  The Champion is his personal warrior, an extension of His glorious Hand.  His faith is so absolute that he can draw great power from it.  The Emperor�s Champion is originally from the Warhammer 40k setting, but with any suitable leader, the Champion can be used.

Special: Must have an Emperor or other suitable Leige.

Vows: At 1st level, as a free action, the Champion may swear a vow that grants him certain abilities.  The effects of the vow last for a number of rounds equal to his Constitution modifier +3. After the Vow ends, he is winded.

(vow)"Suffer Not The Unclean To Live":
The Champion�s weapon counts as having the Holy magic ability while this vow is active.

Holy Warrior:
Gains Smite Evil ability, if already acquired, levels stack for damage purposes.

The Black Sword(su):
The Champion's Devotion to his Emperor is so resolute that he can use it to enhance his Bastard Sword.  The Champion must be in constant contact with his sword for at least 7 days.  Any interruption requires the process to restart.  The weapon then gains a +1 enhancement bonus, and also turns to a deep black color.  This bonus stacks with existing bonus on the sword, but the swords total bonus can never exceed +10, and the natural bonus may never exceed +5.

The Challenge(su): 
Once per day, the Champion may issue a challenge to an opponent.  The opponents HD must be equal to the Champions HD-1 or better.  The opponent then makes a Will saving throw(DC: 10+levels in Champion, +Wis mod).  If the opponent fails, he must attack the Champion, and only the Champion.  Also, the Champion is only allowed to attack that opponent.  They battle until one is disabled, or dead.  The opponent must be able to see the Champion.  This is a mind-influencing ability.

The Champion gains DR(1/2 his Champion level)/-

The Iron Halo:
At 5th level, the Champion�s devotion reaches new heights.  A crown of olive branches appears on his brow, it is however made of Iron.  It grants him +2 Constitution.  This item takes up the headband/helmet slot for magic items, and only the Champion may wear it.  Anyone else who tries to wear it gains one negative level until it�s removed.

(vow)"Accept Any Challenge, No Matter The Odds":
The Champion gains a +2 to hit and damage for each enemy he is in hand to hand with.

(vow)"Be Pure In Mind, Body, and Soul":
The Champion gains SR equal to 15+his Champion level, and +2 sacred bonus to all his saves.

Master Of The Black Sword(ex):
At 10th level, the Champion has become one with his sword.  When wielding The Black Sword 2-handed he can add twice his strength bonus.  He also gains  +2 to all damage rolls, as through Superior Weapon Specialization, so it stacks with any existing Weapon Specialization.
