            SUMMARY OF SKILLS/TRAITS AND CIRCUMSTANCES

After being self-employed for over eight years, I decided a sabbatical or possibly a career change is appropriate.  I’ve returned to Auburn University to bring my teaching certification (Secondary Social Studies) current and will work, according to the pace my circumstances allow, toward my Masters in Education.  Further academic and career options will at least be explored.  I was and will be an effective classroom teacher and certainly that is a solid option for my future.  I’m in the process of relocating to Auburn and winding down my business but am presently seeking employment in East Alabama or West Georgia. I can provide a prospective employer concrete examples of these skills and characteristics being applied. I’m dependable and physically fit. “Critically thinking, effectively communicating, working diligently, possessing creativity, managing and being proficient with people/technology/equipment/information, leading and guiding, solving problems, going the extra mile, being agreeable and polite, following directions, being an advocate and evaluator, thinking globally and with appreciation for diversity” …  all of these positive traits would hopefully be evident to my employer.
