I think the first thing to do would be to introduce myself. --My name is John Jamerson. I am 20 years old and live in the Seattle area of Washington. I hold an Associates of Occupational Studies Degree of Automotive Technologies, from Universal Technical Institute, of Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up in the Seattle area, mostly east-side, and about 20 months ago I moved to Phoenix for school. I moved back up to Seattle a few months ago and now reside here, again. |

These are the pictures I took just before I bought it. I picked it up for $2400. Even with the body damage. The interior is PERFECT, and the motor was in great shape, so it was worth it. - Notice the damage to the passenger side quarter panel, the driver side-front corner. Not to mention it is missing the front air-dam. |

I was introduced to our cars in 1998, when for $300 bucks, I bought a 1988 Conquest TSi from a coworker. It was a POS - let me tell you! It was supposed to be the Maroon on Maroon, but the guy I bought it from got drunk one night and spay-painted it black. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of that one, but hey, I was only 15. Anyway, The interior was trashed and the motor had a HUGE exhaust leak on the manifold. The mounting surface of the head was warped. It was however a strong motor, and still put about 6 psi back in the motor with the leak. It was an automatic, but the overdrive was burned out. The electronics were shot I think. (I didn't know very much about cars at the time, but, now I do. Anyway, I ran it into tree and there went that one. Its too bad Ebay wasn't around to heavily back then or I could have made my $300 back. Oh well. I swore from that day I would have another widebody! |

This is my old Geo Storm. My first performance car I did something with, besides smash into a tree. It ran a 14.3 with an Isuzu built 1.6L DOHC 16V. The Redline was 7700, STOCK. And no, there was no variable valve timing on this motor. Mods included 2.5" mandrel exhaust from the 4-2-1 mandrel header. A cold air intake system. and increased fuel pressure. The speedometer went up to 140mph... And Ill bet, due to the fact there was a 5.0 Mustang BEHIND me on the freeway, I had the thing up to around 155mph. He said his speedo was buried, as well as mine. The interior was a combination of gloss red and black, instead of the factory gray. And the seats were upholstered with black fleece. -I miss that car. I sold it just after I got my Starion. |
