Marathon was the first successful first-person shooter game to be developed for the Mac. It was also one of the hallmark titles of Bungie, and overall, my favorite first-person shooter game. What it lacks in graphics it makes up for in playability. It was way ahead of its time when it first came out, and I can still play it now without feeling like I am stepping "back in time". Marathon has been the game of choice in my house since I first installed the LAN. My brothers and I have played countless games, and keeping track of all of them would be pretty much impossible.
