Awesome

On my first computer, a Commodore 64, there were several games that I played a lot of. But none more so than Jumpman, a simple game that basically consists of a little pixel man running around the screen collecting small red pixel "apples". When all the apples on a particular level are collected, you move on to the next board. What is one up against? Bullets, small white pixels that fly at you from all directions. Robots, creatures, clones, that chase you and shoot at you and generally try to prevent you from collecting apples. This, coupled with some very clever board designs, made for quite a game, especially in 1983. Beats the hell out of Lode Runner, by the way.
