I got this game after I had been introduced to the world of Emperor: Battle for Dune, but I still liked the idea of playing in the Frank Herbert universe. Even though the Dino Di Laurentis version is not exactly the way I see it at all, it still has the underlying cool political-religious interplay that really just kicks ass. Even though it is just a real-time strategy game, I enjoy being immersed in the action of the Dune universe. Play-wise, this game is pretty tough. I mean, there isn't that one automatic strategy for each type of level that will win it for you. There isn't a single unit that is ridiculously more effective than any other unit. That's something that really isn't a given these days. Not only that, but the single-player is a BITCH. All props. It took me a month of straight play to beat this mother, and I had to agonize over the last couple boards of each house for hours and hours. Much to the chagrin of my girlfriend, believe me...
But, at long last, here are the results of my beating this game, proudly displayed for the world to see. And believe me, whether or not the world at large gives a damn, I am proud of myself for beating this game...
