Ever since Civilization came out, I always longed for a sequel. Something more. Not something so different that the allure of the game was lost, but something along the same lines with a little bit more flexibility. Some new units. Notably, better graphics. Along came Civilization 2, the answer to all of my prayers. To this day, I can spend a couple of days on the game, completely wrapped up in a struggle for world domination against a computer or some of my friends.
