Dear Tom,
Confused. Angry. Flabbergasted. Hurt. Betrayed. Suicidal. These are but a few of the emotions that went through my head after purchasing an entire case of your Lipton Onion-Mushroom Recipe and Soup Mix. My story began two weeks ago. I remember it well....
Three miles I biked to my local grocer in search of new culinary delights. I ran through the store--touching, feeling, exploring until the manager threw me out. Then I went to another store where I encountered your product. It was like a revelation. Like a crystal bullet shot into my forehead. Crystal, clean, pure! Here was a soup mix you could use in your favorite pasta, or as gravy! It said "Onion-Mushroom"-my favorite legumes! I bought a case. I actually laid down $120 and bought an entire case! Enough for the year.
Alas, my joy did not last for long. Furiously peddling my three-wheeled bike back home, I longed to open a package of your soup mix and partake of hearty portions of mushroom and onion. Arriving at my humble abode, I tore open a box and extracted a pouch. I was puzzled. How could such a small pouch contain heaps of nutritious goodness? I recklessly threw my doubts aside. Obviously the Lipton scientists came up with some sort of advanced super-compressed formula! Oh, I was so naive.
The pouch of soup mix broke open with a whoosh! And out came some lumpy dry material not even vaguely resembling mushrooms nor onions! I threw myself to the floor and screamed, "You idiot!" You've finally done it! You bought an entire case of Lipton soup mix, AND IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE ON THE BOX!!! Damn you! Damn you to hell!"
I've been in the fetal position ever since. Why? Why hast thou done such pernicious false advertising unto me? The least you can do is respond to my concerns. Only then can the healing begin.
