Dear Sir or Madam,
Let me introduce myself: My name is John Doh and I am a battered husband. For years my wife used to whack me about the head and back with her C.L. Decor rolling pin. In addition to this physical abuse she used to emotionally and verbally attack me using such hurtful words as "wimp" and "fruity ass". After a much delayed police intervention I was saved from this abusive relationship. Marge is now in jail and I have started a new life for myself. Part of the process of recovering from abuse is the counseling phase. In order to heal myself my counselor told me to confront ALL individuals and institutions which contributed to my victimization. I have demanded apologies from my neighbors who turned a blind eye to all the screams and thunking sounds emerging from my home. I also demanded restitution from contemptuous police officers who over the years joined Marge in verbally ridiculing me. Now I must ask your company for an apology. Your rolling pins played a key role in my victim status. Who knows, if there were no rolling pins in the house, maybe events would not have escalated to such a violent level. It is time that you people, C.L. Decor Ltd., come to terms with your status of co-abuser. I demand, no .... expect an extensive apology! The cycle of violence has to stop. The silent screams of submissive husbands being thoroughly thunked by your product must be glorified no more. We all thought it "cute" when Wilma beat Fred on the head with a rolling pin in the cartoon series the Flintstones. It's not "cute" nor "funny". It is simply a glorification of senseless violence. Stop the horror. I anxiously await your apology.

Sincerely yours,
John Doh
