School has started again, and John has a new schedule. He has some classes with David and Mandy, so we see some of their class life.
They make a road trip to Mandy's house to watch TV and eat 'real food'.
John is disappointed to find that he still has to live with Scott, and we meet David's new (gay) roommate, Chris.
It's Thanksgiving Break, and John goes home.
Mandy comes over for dinner, and John's mom gets out the scrapbooks.
John has to dye his hair blonde to work at his old job.
We see cameo guest appearances from cast members we haven't seen since season 3.
The group goes to see "The Ring." David is pretty scared. John is unphased. Mandy (usually never afraid of horror movies) is terrified. During the next few days, she freaks out multiple times. She winds up calling John at 2am, telling him she's scared and begging him to come get her and walk her to his dorm, where she sleeps. Scott is on his laptop, as usual. Finally, seven days later, they're all still alive.
