Live Yardbirds Featuring Jimmy Page
The Yardbirds at the Andersen Theatre 30/3/68

Whilst this date is a fairly common ROIO, this version is not. In 2000, trade papers* 
proudly announced that Jimmy Page had finally given permission for an official release 
of a remastered version of Live Yarbirds. This was to include two bonus cuts of the 
soundcheck at the same date. Following this the disc was advertised and appeared 
briefly on Amazon before the inevitable withdrawal.

My copy comes from that source and is on a silver CD with no label name (same label 
as Pink Floyd's Afternoon Tea, where it says Pontiac). The ROIO maker has added three 
further tracks from another date.

The chief differences from the older versions, available on LP & CD, are two:
1. The fake applause is either toned done or removed. I can't tell for sure - the crowd are still OTT.
2. Dazed & Confused gains an extra verse at the beginning. When you hear this, you will 
understand why the original ROLO makers chopped it out.

Sound - Even though the material was once made into a ROLO, the sound is very rough.
