Woodstock Lovingly compiled from 2 different source tapes, both of which were incomplete, I managed to recreate this al fresco concert in toto. Though I wasn't that fond of the performance at the time, in retrospect, I think that this was a great period for Joni. Her bassist, Larry Klein, became her husband for several years and still produces albums for her while Vinnie Colaiuta rose to prominence with his work with Frank Zappa. David Landau does an impressive job filling the shoes of Pat Metheny who had been Joni's guitarist on previous tours. Listen for Joni's legendary temper halfway through "Song For Sharon". Mastered from 1st generation cassette tapes, dropped to Soundforge for editing/repair purposes, and burned to CDR. Enjoy!
