So, it finally happened... I got the ol' heave-ho. My boss gave me a pink slip, said I was downsized, that my services were no longer required by the AD Media Corp. I shoulda known there'd be layoffs after ExxonMobil bought us out. Oh well, live and learn, I guess.
On the positive side, management let me write out three short vignettes as a parting gift to my legions of fans. I don't have legions of fans, of course, but they don't need to know that. In any event, the three vignettes are below. Read them at your own peril...
