Here are some pics of the seat cover for my 04' Ninja 250 that I made using fiberglass. If you look closely, you will see the metal "latches" that hold the cover securely to the seat. With the seat removed, all you have to do is slide the seat cover on from the back, the two latches on each side hook around the underside of the seat and hold the cover very snug against the seat. Once the seat is re-attatched to the bike, the seat cover cannot come off unless you again remove the seat from the bike, in which case, it easily slides right off. I test fitted it a few times and it fits incredibly, contouring to the lines of the rear part of the seat. I sprayed it with some rattle can paint that was the only color yellow that autozone had, but it was too bright and didn't match the bike at all. I will post some more pics of the seat cover on the bike in a few days. My good friend is working on the details right now, trying to get all the edges smoothed out and everything level, also he is going to prep and paint it using some quality paint. I just sprayed it for the pictures.
