Fan subtitled or "fansubs" as they are more commonly known are copies of anime programs that have been subtitled by fans & not the regular chains of annimation houses. These tapes are often released "unofficially" several years before the commercial prints are released and in some cases cover titles that may never get released outside of Japan Such is was case with the GUNDAM WING titles on this page. I acquired them several years before the "regular" prints were announced as being released by Bandai North America much less actually being released. . As such purchasers may notice some differences in the translations form the "commercial copies".
