PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Mikhail Yakubov scored in overtime to give the Norfolk
Admirals a 2-1 edge over the Philadelphia Phantoms on Wednesday. Yakubov took
a pass from Michal Barinka and beat goaltender Neil Little two minutes into
the extra session for his second game-winning tally of the season. Rene
Bourque added a power-play goal and Michael Leighton stopped 20 shots for
Norfolk, which improved to 3-1 in overtime games this year. Little, who stopped 23 of the 24 shots he faced in the second period, made a season-high 46 saves in the hard-luck loss. Tony Voce netted his eighth goal of the
season for Philadelphia, which has dropped four straight and seven of its last 10.
