ALBANY, NY -- Jon Sim scored with 90 seconds gone in overtime to give the
streaking Philadelphia Phantoms a 4-3 edge over the Albany River Rats on
Saturday. Sim, who recorded a first-period assist and a second-period tally,
put a feed from Freddy Meyer past goaltender Scott Clemmensen for his club's
13th consecutive victory. Meyer and Tony Voce each had two assists and R.J.
Umberger chipped in with a goal and an assist for Philadelphia, which improved
to 5-0 when tied after regulation. Neil Little stopped 23 of the 26 shots he
faced to preserve the win. Clemmsensen, who faced 29 shots between the first
and second periods, made 35 saves in a losing effort. Bobby Allen and Dean
McAmmond, who registered 17 goals and 30 points in 64 games for the Calgary
Flames last season, each had a goal and an assist for Albany, which fell to
1-6-1-2 since October 27. 1
