Philadelphia Phantoms 3, Cincinnati Mighty Ducks 1
==========================================

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Patrick Sharp extended his league-best point-scoring
streak to nine games as the Philadelphia Phantoms recorded their seventh
consecutive victory with a brawling 3-1 win over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks
on Sunday. Sharp, who served a five-minute major penalty late in regulation
for fighting, helped set up Mark Murphy early in the third period for a 2-1
lead. With his outing, the Ontario native leads the club with seven assists and
11 points. Ben Stafford picked up his first multi-point performance of the
season with a goal and an assist and Neil Little, making his second start of
the season, stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced for the win. Ryan Ready, who
recorded the highest single-game, penalty-minute total in the circuit this
year with 34, had two fighting majors and both Josh Gratton and Wade Skolney
registered 17 minutes in the box for Philadelphia, which averages a
league-high 38.22 penalty minutes per game. Joel Perrault scored his
team-leading fourth goal of the season and Ilya Bryzgalov, who appeared in 64
games last season with Cincinnati, made 18 saves in the loss for the Mighty
Ducks, who have dropped three straight. 1
