HAMILTON, ONT -- Dennis Seidenberg, Randy Jones and Ben Eager each scored in
the third period as the Philadelphia Phantoms downed the Hamilton Bulldogs,
4-1, on Friday. Seidenberg broke a 1-1 tie on the power play 6:36 into the
final stanza. Jones, who finished with two points, followed 26 seconds later with his inaugural tally of the campaign and Eager capped the scoring on his first-ever professional goal. Peter White added a pair of assists and Antero Niittymaki, who stopped all 15 shots he faced in the third, made 29
saves for Philadelphia, which has taken four straight after beginning the year
with consecutive losses. Dan Ellis surrendered four goals on 24 shots in dropping his record to 0-3. Jason Ward had the lone score for Hamilton,
which has lost three of its last four.
