Philadelphia Phantoms 3, Hershey Bears 2 (OT)
====================================

HERSHEY, PA -- Tony Voce scored with just under 70 seconds gone in overtime to
give the Philadelphia Phantoms a 3-2 victory over the Hershey Bears on
Saturday. Voce, who netted his second goal of the season early in the middle
stanza, took a pass from Joni Pitkanen and beat goaltender Tom Lawson for his
first-ever two-goal performance in only his fourth professional game. Patrick
Sharp extended his point-scoring streak to four games with an assist and Neil
Little, making his first start of the year, stopped 30 shots for Philadelphia,
which recorded its 13th consecutive win over Hershey having taken all 12
meetings last season. Lawson, who turned aside all 16 shots he faced in the
first period, ended with 38 saves in defeat. Mathieu Darche helped Marek
Svatos establish a 1-0 lead early in the second and sent the game into
overtime on a goal with five seconds left in regulation for the Bears, who
fell to 0-3-1 to begin the 2004-05 campaign. 1
