PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Dennis Seidenberg registered his first four-point game of
the season as the Philadelphia Phantoms doubled up the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
Penguins, 4-2, on Sunday. The 23-year-old defenseman, who has seven points in
his last three games, had a goal and an assist in the first period, set up
R.J. Umberger 33 seconds into the middle stanza for a 3-0 cushion and helped
Tony Voce net his 10th power-play marker of the season late in regulation.
Umberger added an assist and Ben Stafford chipped in with two assists for
Philadelphia, which extended its home winning streak to five games and moved
one point ahead of Binghamton for the East-Division lead. Antero Niittymaki
stopped all 12 shots he faced in both the first and third periods and finished
with 30 saves, raising his record to 30-19-4 with a goals-against average of
2.07 and a .923 save percentage. Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves in the loss.
Shane Endicott recorded his fifth power-play goal of the year and Michel
Ouellet had two assists for Wilkes-Barre, which fell to 0-4-1-1 since March 26. 1
