Philadelphia Phantoms 4, Hershey Bears 3

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Patrick Sharp and Tony Voce each had a goal and two
assists as the Philadelphia Phantoms edged the Hershey Bears, 4-3, on Friday.
Sharp notched a goal and an assist in the first period and helped Boyd Kane
establish a 4-2 lead late in the middle stanza. Voce set up first-period
markers by both Sharp and Dennis Seidenberg and tallied his ninth power-play
goal of the season with just over two minutes remaining in the second.
Seidenberg added an assist and Antero Niittymaki turned aside 22 shots for
Philadelphia, which improved to a perfect 12-0-0-0 on home ice when
leading after the first period. Tom Lawson gave up four goals on 21 shots and
was pulled after the middle stanza in defeat. Mathieu Darche and Martin Hlinka
each had a goal and an assist for Hershey, which fell to 3-6-1 against the
Phantoms this year.
