PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Neil Little recorded his third shutout of the season with
32 saves for the Philadelphia Phantoms in a 5-0 victory over the Portland
Pirates on Sunday. The 12th-year-pro stopped 26 shots over the second and
third periods and helped shut down seven Portland power plays to raise his
record to 13-6-0 with a 2.27 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage.
Jon Sim registered two goals to make him the 16th player in franchise history
to score at least 30 goals in a season and R.J. Umberger added a goal and two
assists for Philadelphia, which improved to 18-9-0 against non-division teams.
Maxime Daigneault gave up three goals on 12 second-period shots and ended with
25 saves in the loss for the Pirates, who were held scoreless for the second
time in their last three games. 1
