Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 4, Philadelphia Phantoms 3

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Shane Endicott scored late in regulation to help the
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins earn a 4-3 triumph over the Philadelphia
Phantoms on Sunday. Endicott took a feed from Colby Armstrong and beat
goaltender Neil Little with three seconds remaining in the third period for
his fourth game-winner of the season. Wilkes-Barre has now won three straight
versus Philadelphia with a goal in the third period. Armstrong added an
assist, Matt Hussey scored twice to give him five goals and seven points in
his last four games and Ross Lupaschuk had a goal and an assist for the
Penguins, who moved into a tie with Binghamton for the East Division lead.
Marc-Andre Fleury, who allowed three goals on 18 third-period shots, made 31
saves to pick up the win. Little stopped 16 shots in the loss. Jon Sim, who
had two goals in the contest, recorded a shorthanded marker for the second
time in as many games for the Phantoms, who lost consecutive one-goal games
for the first time since January 21.
