WILKES-BARRE, PA -- Matt Hussey scored twice on the power play early in the
third period to help the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins edge the Philadelphia
Phantoms, 4-3, on Saturday. Hussey, who has five points in his last three
games, evened the score at 3-3 with help from Ryan VandenBussche 2:20 into the
final stanza and netted his second game-winner of the season just over two
minutes later. VandenBussche finished with two assists and Dany Sabourin
stopped 27 shots for Wilkes-Barre, which has won three straight and four of
its last five. Antero Niittymaki, who allowed one goal on the only shot he
faced in the second period, made 16 saves in the loss. Tony Voce scored twice
and Jon Sim potted a shorthanded tally for Philadelphia, which lost in
regulation for the first time in 14 road games when leading after two periods.
