GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Patrick Sharp had two goals and an assist as the
Philadelphia Phantoms downed the Grand Rapids Griffins, 6-1, on Sunday. Sharp
helped Dennis Seidenberg establish a 2-0 lead late in the first period, netted
his 18th goal of the season with under two minutes left in the second and
capped the scoring 18 seconds into the third. Through Sunday, the 23-year-old
forward leads the club with 19 goals and 40 points. Seidenberg added an assist
and both R.J. Umberger and John Slaney had a goal and an assist for
Philadelphia, which improved to 4-0-0 on its current five-game road trip. Neil
Little, making his first start since January 14, turned aside 30 of the 31
shots he faced to pick up the win. Drew MacIntyre, who was pulled after the
second period, gave up five goals on 16 shots in the loss. Blake Sloan tallied
his 12th marker of the season for Grand Rapids, which has lost three of its
