CINCINNATI, OH -- Antero Niittymaki turned aside 36 shots for his 10th career
shutout as the Philadelphia Phantoms downed the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, 3-0,
on Friday. The 24-year-old netminder stopped 12 shots in the first period and
made 13 saves over the final 20 minutes, raising his record to 19-14-4. Ben
Eager recorded his first career multi-point game with a goal and an assist and
R.J. Umberger chipped in with two assists for Philadelphia, which has won all
three meetings against Cincinnati this year. Ilya Bryzgalov gave up three
goals on 26 shots in defeat for the Mighty Ducks, who were held scoreless for
the first time since January 12.
