PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Denis Hamel scored twice on the power play as the
Binghamton Senators doubled up the Philadelphia Phantoms, 4-2, on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old winger established a 2-0 lead early in the second period and
netted his 11th man-advantage tally of the season with just over six minutes
gone in the third. Brandon Bochenski registered a goal and an assist and Ray
Emery turned aside 29 shots for Binghamton, which has won three straight and
eight of its last 10. Neil Little, who surrendered two goals on nine
second-period shots, made 19 saves in the loss. Mark Murphy had a goal and an
assist for Philadelphia, which fell to 3-5-0-1 when trailing after the first period.
