NORFOLK, VA -- Ajay Baines scored twice for the Norfolk Admirals in a 3-2
triumph over the Philadelphia Phantoms on Saturday. Baines established a 2-0
lead late in the first period and netted his seventh of the season with 6:53
gone in the final stanza. Matt Keith added a goal and Craig Anderson turned
aside 24 of the 26 shots he faced to pick up the win for Norfolk, which
improved to 3-3-1 against Philadelphia this season. Freddy Meyer and Randy
Jones, both of whom are defensemen, each scored a goal for the Phantoms, who
had their six-game unbeaten streak snapped. Antero Niittymaki recorded 30
saves in the loss for Philadelphia.
