PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Mike Peluso and Patrick Sharp each scored in the second
period to help the Philadelphia Phantoms down the Hershey Bears, 3-2, on
Sunday. Peluso broke a 1-1 tie at the 5:38 mark of the middle stanza and Sharp
established a two-goal cushion late in the period. Dennis Seidenberg and Peter
White each had two assists for Philadelphia, which improved to 6-4 in one-goal
games this year. Antero Niittymaki made 22 saves over the second and third
periods and finished with 31 stops for the win. Peter Budaj registered 25 saves
in the loss. Bruce Richardson and Evgeni Artukhin each scored for Hershey,
which has dropped three of its last four.
