PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Jeff Hamilton scored twice for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers
in a 4-1 triumph over the Philadelphia Phantoms on Friday. Hamilton established
a 2-0 cushion with 1:53 remaining in the opening period and tallied on the
power play just 87 seconds later. Cail MacLean and Kevin Colley each added a
oal and Wade Dubielewicz made 20 saves for Bridgeport, which improved to
16-0-3-1 since October 18. Neil Little surrendered three goals on eight shots
and was pulled after the first period to take the loss. Chris Houle, making his
first career AHL appearance, replaced Little to begin the second period and
stopped all 14 shots he faced. Patrick Sharp had the lone goal for
Philadelphia, which fell to 1-3-1 against the Sound Tigers this year.
