PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Ajay Baines scored twice on the power play and Steve
Passmore stopped 29 shots for the Norfolk Admirals in a 2-0 victory over the
Philadelphia Phantoms on Friday. Baines, whose four goals on the season have
all come with the man-advantage, broke a scoreless tie with one minute
remaining in the first period and added a middle-stanza tally. Passmore stopped
15 shots over the final 20 minutes of the contest to pick up his second shutout
of the season. Antero Niittymaki made 27 saves in the loss for Philadelphia,
which had its eight-game unbeaten streak snapped. The contest was marred by a
combined 96 penalty minutes.
