ALBANY, NY -- Antero Niitymaki made 24 saves for his second shutout of the
season as the Philadelphia Phantoms blanked the Albany River Rats, 4-0, on
Saturday. Niitymaki stopped all 10 shots he faced in the third period and
helped shut down five Albany power plays to raise his record to 5-4-3. Peter
White scored twice and Mike Peluso had two assists for Philadelphia, which has
taken six of its last seven. Ari Ahonen surrendered three goals on 10 third-
period shots and ended with 24 saves in the loss for the River Rats, which fell
to 1-6-1 on home ice.
